Shard Cluster pendant
In tones of chocolate, smoke and chalk, allows views of the mineral and metal layers suspended within, inspired by the undulating and scarred mining landscape of beautiful Devon-Cornwall borderlands of the Tamar Valley.
Grains of pure tin, iron, copper and mica and chalk and sand are bound together in a handmade resin composition, the resulting 'jewels' are entirely unique. No two jewels are ever the same, each one is hand cut and finished in much the same way as a true earth gemstone is processed. In this design one of the shards is a matte, sandy terracotta colour and is permanently attached to a transparent striped shard, whilst its neighbour contains chalky undulations and is also finished to a shine. The cluster measures approx' 5cm x 2.5cm and hang on a graduated dark-to-bright silver chain. Total chain length is 44cm. Price includes postage.
