I stopped writing this blog some years ago, when I simply didn't have the time for it anymore, which is a shame, because I love writing and sharing pictures with you. As a new member of the Devon Guild of Craftsman, I am fortunate to have my work exhibited in this mini exhibition: "New at the Guild". This takes place at the Riverside Mill, home of the guild Bovey Tracey. I'll be at the Meet the Maker event if you fancy popping by and saying hello!....I also highly recommend you stop for a bite to eat at the cafe upstairs which I can vouch produces the most delicious food!

There is just one place left on this workshop for August 19th 2017. It will be taught by myself at the teaching workshop of Victoria Sewart Contemporary Jewellery, above two floors of inspirational jewellery gallery. Sewarts' is located in the historic Plymouth Barbican on the harbour front, a fantastic location. Due to the one:to:one nature of the teaching for this workshop - each student will be making their own design - the group size will be very small. Find more details on the event here.

There's a fair few of us jewellery and metals types, industriously working away in our own little studios, workshops and communities across the SouthWest region of the UK.....come and see for yourself, conveniently brought together at the amazing location of the Royal William Yard (former victualling warehouses) in Plymouth. There's lots to see and do at this beautiful waterside environment and plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and drink too. See you there.

If that wasn't already enough good news, I can also offer the option to have your Gold designs made up in EcoGold, but it gets even better!.....I have registered with the Fairtrade Gold organisation so that I have access to purchase Fairtrade Gold stock to work with and can make up your custom design using Fairtrade Gold. Please note that I do not keep a supply of any gold in stock, I order to spec'.  I do not make gold designs speculatively to sell.....(yet, though I am considering it).... so you will not find me listed in the Fairtrade Goldsmith Finder, but I will provide receipts from the supplier as proof of purchase of your Fairtrade Gold.  Did you know that you can also buy Fairtrade Diamonds and Rubies in the UK?
