Etsy is a New York based internet site, featuring the work of designers, makers, craft suppliers and sellers of vintage who are situated all over the world. Prices are shown in Dollars, but in my own shop I include a currency convertor link with each item listing, so you can get an instant conversion of what my item costs in your own currency.
If you want to purchase an item, then this transaction takes place quickly and smoothly through PayPal, instantly converting the Dollars payment into your own currency wherever your card or account is based. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SIGN UP WITH PAYPAL IF YOU DON'T WANT TO, YOU CAN USE YOUR CARD. The transaction will be shown in your own currency. Easy.
If, like me, you are UK based, then avoid the currency conversion fee and using the "contact seller" link in my shop, email me instead of putting the item in the basket and I will send you a PayPal invoice in British Pounds Sterling which will allow you immediate purchase without any conversion fee. I do accept cheques, but cannot post items until the cheque has cleared in my account.
