2002

  • Am one of three winners of National competition run by "Motorcycle News" magazine in conjunction with Arashi Helmets to design graphics for new range of helmets. My design went into production for worldwide retail early in 2003.

1997

  • Commission for Head-teacher of Oakham School, Rutland - decorative leaving gift of silver and wood.
  • Held first ever craft stall at Leicester "City Craft Fair".

1996

  • Exhibited at Leicester City Gallery "Open Exhibition", winning the Specialist Craft Award for my repoussed brooches.
  • Exhibited in "Gittering Prospects", Angel Row Gallery, Nottingham.
  • Joint commission for "Voluntary Action for Rutland" silver work on wood plaque.

1995

  • Awarded a "Craftsperson Grant" by East Midlands Arts.

1994 

  • Ran a Children's Christmas festival workshop "Junk Jewellery", (recycling & re-using) on behalf of the Herefordshire jewelers group "Alloy".
  • Exhibited at Leicester City Gallery "Open Exhibition".

·         Participated in a practical "workshop for teachers" by American Jeweller, artist, writer and publisher Tim McCreight, at the Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery.

·         Participated in an advanced "Precious Metal Clay workshop" by American jeweller Celie Fago, at the Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery.

·         Participated in a Creative Play workshop for teachers by American artist and jeweller Robert Dancik, run by the Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery.

·         Attended "Cold enamel-resin workshop" by Clare Johns at the Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery.

·         Attended weekend course "Felt Making by Hand" in 3D by Caroline Lawrence at the Swarthmore.
